ALWAYS REMEMBER WHAT JESUS HAS DONE FOR YOU (COMMUNION) - INDIVIDUAL LESSON
This Sunday School lesson is inspired by Jesus’ last meal with His disciples. When He sat down to eat He introduced the bread as His broken body, and the cup of wine as His shed blood for us. These 2 symbols of Communion have become significant for those of us who are followers of Jesus. Put in a simple way for kids to understand, Communion is about us always remembering what Jesus has done for us.
Memory Verse: “...He broke [the bread] and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” - 1 Corinthians 11:24-25 (NASB)
