JESUS IS COMING BACK (BUT NOBODY KNOWS WHEN EXACTLY!) - INDIVIDUAL LESSON
It is an essential part of the Christian faith not just to know that Jesus died on the cross, rose from the dead and then ascended to heaven, but that He also promised to come back again. We know this as ‘the second coming’. But it is important to understand, and for children to know too of course, that before Jesus’ coming there will be signs as well as false prophets and other people who will try to lead believers astray. So the focus with this lesson is this: Jesus is coming back...BUT nobody knows when exactly.
Memory Verse: “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son Himself. Only the Father knows.” - Matthew 24:36 (NLT)
