YOU DON'T HAVE TO EARN GOD'S LOVE - INDIVIDUAL LESSON
This lesson establishes that we don’t have to do anything to earn God’s love. Sometimes we think we earn God’s love by being good or following His ways; or that we have to just do good stuff as if to keep earning God’s love. This might be true with some people, but thankfully it’s not true with God! Kids need to know that just as they are, free of doing anything at all, God loves them. We don’t have to earn God’s love (we already have it!).
Memory Verse: “This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” - 1 John 4:10 (NIV)
