Foundation Blocks isn’t about the advanced stuff or deep theology, it’s about laying a simple and solid foundation of Biblical basics.

Foundation Blocks curriculum consists of 52 lessons, which works out to 1 full calendar year of teaching material if you’re interested in that.

The lessons are broken up into 12 different series blocks, each containing either 2, 4 or 6 lessons, focusing on different specific foundational topics. The beauty of Foundation Blocks is in how flexible it is. All lessons are available together in a series bundle, or they can be singled out and downloaded individually.

Let’s plan out how to lay a solid foundation:

Option A: Sometimes following a set curriculum syllabus is great. Lay down (teach) Foundation Blocks in this order from January-December.

Option B: Sometimes you want the flexibility to teach other things, take breaks or rearrange a teaching series to accommodate your schedule. Pick and choose series blocks or individual lessons and teach them whenever you want. You can still lay down foundational content, but you have control over when and where you place down the blocks.

  • You are not invisible, God sees you

  • Everyone is very valuable

Series Block - The Bible:

  • The Bible is the Word of God

  • The Bible is a guide for your life

  • You can believe God’s promises

  • Always check it with the Bible

Series Block - Who God Is (Core Truths)

  • God is the Creator of all things

  • Only God is perfect

  • God is good all of the time

  • God will never change

Series Block - Trust, Faith and Possible:

  • God can do the impossible

  • Trust God with your problems

  • Have faith in the power of Jesus

  • Trust God even when it doesn’t make sense

Series Block - Emotions and Feelings:

  • God is close when your heart is hurting

  • When you’re feeling anxious: pray

  • Don’t hold a grudge against someone

  • When you have Jesus you can have hope

  • Have an attitude of gratitude

  • When you feel weak, God can give you strength

Series Block - The Big Do’s and Don’ts:

  • Treat all people with respect

  • Stand firm, don’t give in to sin

  • Live at peace with others

  • Don’t judge others

  • Don’t change to be like the world around you

  • Set a good example for others
